It is a privilege to be part of Team OTPC after over 37 years in the Indian power sector, contributing to projects across thermal, gas, renewables, power trading and cross-border territories. Over this journey, I have witnessed the sector’s remarkable transition from power deficit to power sufficiency, with a growing emphasis on efficiency and greening the grid. My progression from an engineer trainee to senior leadership has reinforced a core belief—”technical excellence, when powered by inspired people, delivers extraordinary results”.

OTPC’s vision—empowering lives across the globe with integrated energy solutions—drives my commitment to strengthening operational excellence, diversifying into new energy domains, embracing advanced technologies and fostering innovation for long-term value creation.

Our people are OTPC’s greatest strength and unlocking their potential is our constant mission. Together, we foster a culture of safety, efficiency, teamwork and ownership—turning challenges into opportunities. In powering the North East, we light more than homes; we inspire hope in a region as beautiful and captivating as its landscapes.
